It was beyond exciting to gather at 54 Wellington Street, Collingwood, for a one-of-a-kind event to celebrate the launch of issue #70 issue of the magazine. Our Community Manager, Van Do, had fun transforming a vacant floor of the newly-sustainably built Impact Investment Group office space. There was something so incredibly special about having the opportunity to be in a room with hundreds of people and to share the energy of the space together. The theme of issue #70 is a meaningful life, and we have learned that bringing people together adds meaning to all our lives. We look forward to doing it a lot more with our beautiful community in the months ahead.
The evening began with drinks and delicious food provided by our good friend Chase at Slow Food Catering.
Extraordinary cellist Josephine Vains took to the stage.
Berry Liberman invited some of our partners and building tenants to share what a meaningful life means to them.
Incoming CEO of Yoorrook Justice Commission Hugh de Kretser shared the significance of Victoria’s truth telling process;
Andrew Davies from B Lab Australia and New Zealand spoke about finding purposeful work.
And Judith Downes, Chair of the Board at Bank Australia connected with her shareholders – every person who holds an account at bank in Australia.
People from the various worlds that make up the Small Giants ecosystem gathered together.
Contributors & profiles from the magazine, past and present participants in our Mastery of Business and Empathy, Fellow B Corps and businesses in residence at 54 Wellington Street including The Commons co-working space, friends old and new, and some of our beloved readers of Dumbo Feather magazine were there to say hello to our new editor, Kirsty de Garis, as we celebrated the release of her first issue as editor.
