Last year Mag Nation started doing a semi-regular spot on their blog where they’d ask people in mag-land to nominate their five favourite magazines. First up was Kate Bezar, Dumbo feather’s founder and editor with her picks and lately, Becky Smith, the founder of UK mags, Lula and Twin, shared her faves (one of which was Dumbo feather, even if just for our name!).
It got us wondering what your favourite magazines are?? Leave us a comment below with your top five, excluding Dumbo feather (we’ll assume that’s a given ;). Please give web addresses if they’re a bit obscure so others can find them …

I am an unfaithful magazine slag. Too true. I chop and change and pick up what I like and share my magazine love around. Sadly, I have only ever seen one Lula on a shelf where I live and a great deal of mainstream mags can be hard to find. I will hunt down Big Issues and if visiting Sydney can be known to crash tackle a vendor, or madly cross a street with $5 high and waving a yoo hoo – much to friends’ mirth.
GOOD Magazine is AWESOME. love it love it love it.
Also sometimes like Frankie, like Venuszine, though usually I go for specific content.
Frankie, Yen, LOVE, Rushh and The Big Issue is a must buy!
i just received my first ever issue of Dumbo feather and all i gotta say is that I fell in love with it!
I love this magazine, I picked a copy up after reading a quote from Ray Lawrence about his films “like pushing a Trojan horse into a cinema. People go to see the horse and all this other stuff comes out.”
Dumbo Feather is by far my favourite magazine, my favourite quote is “To err is human, to arr is pirate.” Which is a little silly, maybe someone could give me an answer to what it’s all about on YAHOO ANSWERS.
I’m a big fan of Monocle Magazine, however, I quite a back-log stacked up after my years subscription (great thing about the mag is you can pick it up and put it down anytime, content remains very relevant).
