…what seems like a very long time ago, I had a small, very small, deposit saved for a house (actually, probably more like a studio apartment)… Then, one day I had this idea to start Dumbo feather, and now, instead of a my own four walls, I have a (rented) garage full of back issues!
However, day in day out, the back issues have slowly been whittled away until, to my huge surprise, I realised that we’re almost out of a couple. Copies of Issue 7 are seriously slim on the ground and Issue 8 is getting very low too. So, for the next couple of months at least (until completely gone), *you’ll only be able to get Issue 7 when you purchase the full set of back issues.

“I am done with great things and big plans, great institutions and big successes. I am for those tiny, invisible, loving human forces that work from individual to individual, creeping through the crannies of the world like so many rootlets, or like a capillary oozing water, yet which, if given time, will rend the hardest moments of human pride.” - William James

a magic Friday night… our 2nd ever Dumbo feather & friends evening in Sydney.

Thank you Dean [Manning, Issue 1] and Jen [Peedom, Issue 2] for sharing their gutsy and ever-so-entertaining stories.
Thank you Carriageworks & The Rabble for an incredible venue and challenging, cinematic and extraordinary performance. Here’s an insightful review if you’re interested.
Thank you Anthea, honestly I would be lost without you.
But mostly, thank you for coming. Once again, so wonderful to be able to put some more faces to the names and to be reminded of what a fantastic community of readers we have.
Till next time, Kate
