    Issue 10, ahhaaa!!
    Wonderful beyond words!
I am a baker!! beloved of bread…now I absolutely must travel to Melbourne to Chirico, and ALSO to the divine Lake House.
Never encountered a publication of any kind that makes me immediately want to search so many web sites, from the ads (Dr Hauschka) to the connections,to the stories themselves- more of Joost!
A few questions (issue 9)- any info on what ads Ray has done so we can be on the look out? I think he did the Kerry Amrstrong Leggo sauce one..do not watch much commercial tv but would be alert to his work.
Much as I love the lay out and design and feel and of course the writing and the inspiration , may I beg you to enlarge the fonts for eyes using reading glasses?? Some are really impossible- the smallest being BEE talking about her work..
otherwise thanks and love and I sure am passing it on as fast as I can,in fact will have to order ALL back copies!!!
Re #8,where can we get Kanyini now it seems to have gone from the theatres??

In an industry renowned for its fickle disposition, a movement has finally emerged that promises to be as enduring as wool itself. Eco-fashion, it seems, is not an oxymoron or a whim. In fact, the swing towards sustainable clothing may be permanently in vogue, with experts declaring it a megatrend.
It is not surprising that fashion – by definition a mode of personal expression – has become a vehicle for transmitting values synonymous with natural, ecological and sustainable living. India Flint epitomises this international movement. Her work is a true inspiration and I cannot wait to get my paws on her book and to learn something of her craft.

It should be in most bookstores this week I believe although it’s not officially released until March. There’s a bit more info here: http://www.murdochbooks.com.au/ecocolour.htm

Hi there, OH no Im a bit late!
I’m currently working with two groups of Indigenous artists who are aiming to start creative businesses based around putting their textile design on fabrics. They are currently doing screenprinting and natural dying and making amazing one-off pieces. The two groups are the Cabbage Tree Island Art Shed, Wardell and Jambama Artists Centre, casino.

Both of these groups could really benefit from an exceelent book like this.

    Any chance for another book?

Hi Amanda - you just had to be one of the 1st three people to write something here… but I’m afraid, there were at least 3 before you.
    Next time…

Wow, I’m way too slow, aren’t I! Teach me to get emails when you have a perfectly good RSS feed!

I’m a junior writer in an ad’ agency in Northern England…I realise that I’m not the first to comment, however, I do hope time differences will be taken into consideration.
The reason that I would value the book would be as a way to show my colleagues (those above me) that there are alternative ways of producing the millions of adverts that we churn out day in, day out…

India Flint shows us that, just when we think we know everything, nature shows us a better way.

Wow! That book would be fantastic! I am betting they are all gone… but thanks for the offer. No wonder we all love DumboFeather so much! Cheers, Lisa

The book sounds great! I’m a member of an artist-run artspace and gallery, and we’re planning a project creating a garden to grow plants which are then used to make natural dyes…So this looks like a book for us! A freebie would be wonderful, thank you.
