Subscribing

• I’d like to give a subscription as a gift – how does that work?

Go into our shop, click on subscriptions, select the sub you’d like to buy by clicking on ‘ADD TO CART’, then ‘GO TO CHECKOUT’ (top right corner). Then fill out the lucky person’s details in the form under yours. At this point you can also add a message from yourself which will be included in a letter they’ll receive from us with the first issue of their subscription. It begins,

“Dear [their name],

[your name] has kindly gifted you a [12/24] month subscription to ‘Dumbo feather, pass it on’ known as Dumbo feather amongst friends.

[Your message]

• I’m not sure if my subscription has expired or how many copies I’m still to receive?

Please contact us and we can look you up in ‘the system’ and let you know.

• I’d like to subscribe and get the current issue as the first of my subscription.

Easy. Just select for your subscription to start with the ‘current issue’ from the drop-down menu when you’re subscribing.

Waylaid issues

• I’m a subscriber but I haven’t received my copy of the latest issue.

They do go missing. If even just 1% of all the copies we post go AWOL, that’s still quite a few. If you haven’t received your copy of the latest issue, please contact us and we’ll rectify the situation pronto.

• I subscribed recently but haven’t yet received a copy.

We always start new subscriptions with the next unreleased issue unless requested to do otherwise. If you would like us to adjust your sub and send you the current issue immediately, then contact us… easily done.

Other

• How often is Dumbo feather published and when?

Dumbo feather is published four times a year ie. once every three months

• Autumn issue: Posted last week of March, in stores 1st week of April
• Winter issue: Posted last week of June, in stores 1st week of July
• Spring issue: Posted last week of September, in stores 1st week of October
• Summer issue: Posted two weeks before Christmas, in stores week prior to Christmas
