We need someone to help us look after ourselves and our flock, mostly our flock. Our subscriber numbers are growing at a rate of knots and you all seem to move house constantly! Keeping tabs on them is becoming a part-time (about 10 hours/week to begin) role in itself… There’s a bit more to it than that (read on), but essentially we need someone who;
- loves detail, doing things well and thoroughly
- lives in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney (and is therefore close to our PO Box, mag storage & the post offices where we have accounts)
- is looking for a part-time job which can be done in your own time
- wants to work autonomously ie. happy to work from home
- is proficient in Excel &/or Numbers and MYOB
- can make up their own job title – Chief of Flock?
- is a great proofreader (not essential, but would be a great bonus for us)
- loves wrapping parcels
You’d be responsible for;
- Maintaining the subscriber database
- Adding new subscribers
- Changing subscribers’ details
- Chasing up ‘return to sender’s
- Responding to enquiries re. subscribing or purchasing Dumbo feather
- Fulfilment
- Invoicing & posting out of purchases
- Subscription mail-out preparation & management

Hey there – role really does have to be here, part can be done interstate, but there’s a distribution/fulfillment part (ie. parcelling up back issues etc) that needs to happen in Sydney because that’s where they’re all stored. …
Really do need someone to start fairly quickly as am going overseas in late May for 3 weeks and need someone to hold the fort here! April might be ok…
