Creative Sydney kicks off this week (on Weds 27th) and runs for three weeks at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Circular Quay and The Roxy, Parramatta. Creative Sydney is a festival celebrating the wealth and diversity of the city’s creative talents. There are talks, exhibitions, panel discussions and more*.
As part of the festival, they’ve named Sydney’s 100 Creative Catalysts of which Dumbo feather’s founder, Kate Bezar, is one. She’s participating in a couple of sessions; ‘Finding your fans‘ and ‘Reaching the World‘. Quite a few other members of the ‘Dumbo feather’ flock were also named; Dave Gravina (from Digital Eskimo, our web designers), Morganics (the hip hop artist from Issue 18), Nigel Marsh (author and co-founder of Earth Hour from Issue 14) and Troy Lum (from Hopscotch films and Issue 5). Congrats all of you catalysts you!
*All the events are free, but you do have to register at the website.
