… it’s
time…
On 17 February, in Melbourne, Dumbo feather is hosting a screening of ‘Sketches of Frank Gehry’ with Rooftop Cinema in Melbourne.
The Roofy kids have this to say about the film: “Sydney Pollack directs this insightful foray into the mind of the world’s most famous living architect. More conversational than inquisitorial, it covers ground from the creative process to more personal matters such as anti-semitism and the fine art of leaving your wife for work.” We say, if you enjoy getting inside the minds of remarkable people, this film will be right up your alley…
Unfortunately we can’t be there in person as Kate’s currently ‘incasterated’ (she’s broken her ankle), and doesn’t think a jaunt to Melbourne would really be what the doctor ordered. But, there will be treats for all… Come on up!

For those of you haven’t ventured for the heights of the Rooftop Cinema rooftop yet, it really is quite something… French Riviera-inspired deckchairs for kicking back, a bar stocked and staffed by the crew from Cookie… and of course a view to jump for. Check out the rest of the programme here.
