Caravana’s in town

March 19th, 2007 by D feather

Since we interviewed them in 2004 Cath Braid and Kirsten Ainsworth have produced a number of collections, narrowly escaped the Pakistani earthquakes of 2006, and worked with the UN for the Afghan and Iraqi elections. Caravna’s pieces are part of the Smart works exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum from 30 March - Jul-Aug 2007. The girls will also be telling their story on 28 March 6pm for 6.30pm at the Coles Theatre Powerhouse Museum 500 Harris Street, Ultimo. It’s bound to be special. Tickets are $15.00 (bookings essential (02) 9217 0222, edserve@phm.gov.au, or online) and include a free pass to see Smart works on 31 March or 1 April.
