✿Bea.MiLo.Jღzz✿™Hi!When rats have respiratory prmelbos, you do not, under any circumstances, give them human medication. They need a medicine called Baytril, a specific rat medicine. You've probably done a little damage by giving him childrens decongestant.I recommend the following;A vets visit to insist on a steroid injection. This removes any inflammation and is WONDERFUL. It works excellently in conjunction with Baytril my ratties kept succumbing to respiratory infections and as soon as they had this, they haven't been ill again!, the removal of the inflammation allowed the medication to work properly which means the infection was completely removed. this will be a one off vets visit they don't need any repeats.A visit to your local pet shot to purchase an item called pro-biotic C. This is a wonderful probiotic that soothes stressed or ill ratties, calms down their tummies, helps them overcome infections by boosting their immune systems (it's recommended by vets to treat ratties who are undergoing treatment). It goes into their drinking water and ratties tend to like the taste! It's a wonderful product and it only costs about a34.After the injection and the probiotic, you should see a 100% improvement in your ratty trust me. Those injections bring ratties back from the brink they are amazing. and as for the pro-biotic, I use it myself and I am such an evangelist for it! Good luck and love to ratty. .
