There is something serious on the minds of many Australians right now and that’s the issue of asylum seekers.
In classic Dumbo fashion, we see this as a chance to create and extend a vital dialogue. Not just a black and white debate, but the kind of discussion where all sorts of grey, ambiguous and challenging ideas intersect. We want to probe at the tricky bits that people have been shying away from, and introduce some questions of our own. Questions that we have to sit with and questions that will probably go unanswered.
Let’s start with reacquainting ourselves with the excellent SBS series that got everyone talking about this very issue. Go Back To Where You Came From is returning for its second season on 28 August, and we’re incredibly excited about it. Here’s the trailer for both the first and the second season.
